Dead Man

Dead Man

Dead Man (1995)

Directed by Jim Jarmusch

My Dad always loved westerns, so they were always on when I was a kid. For that reason, I have a sentimental leaning towards western films – the old Clint Eastwood takes on everyone films were the best. I also love more contemplative, artistic cinema, and modern films are also more to my tastes. ‘Dead Man’ incorporated several of these elements into what I think is a modern masterpiece. The film drifts along at a perfect pace, but the ending is what won me over. Totally.

I watch this film at least once a year and it gets me every time.
